........It is quite pathetic that people need people. There had been
a song written which had been made famous by Barbra Streisand.
"People who need people are the luckiest people in the world."
The use of the word "pathetic" came about as an everyday
word at a time in this author's life when he had already reached
a plateau of higher consciousness not to be affected by the dysfunctionality
which goes on everyday from TV news and programs, radio and newspaper.
He would no longer bother with the newspaper and had already selected
to watch only certain TV programs which presented the truth without
a "spin". (No spin zone - O'Reilly, Fox News) With eighty
programs on TV to choose from hardly one or two would ever be
worthwhile. Pathetic!
........Certain radio stations made sense to this author with talk shows
of value. Dennis Prager, Laura Schlessinger, Rush Limbaugh, Ray
Breane, Michael Medved, Larry Elder and some others. There is
never enough time to listen to all of them but occasionally while
driving to and from work. When one gets older it is time to think
of meaningful things rather then listening to music which has
been so corrupted today. The recent tape in the car for some opera,
but not that boring stuff. The famous songs from specific operas
always reach a deep place in the author's heart. The memory of
his mother taking him to the opera in Paris and Brussels during
the 1940's. There is always a love for this music as the author
remembers the records he would listen to as a child, the famous
opera singers and the famous cantors - his father is a cantor
in Brighton, England and still living at the age of 96. G bless.
........The word "pathetic" began to come around in recent years
as he would express his view and discernment of the incredible
times of this new century. No longer is there anger or judgement
for this author but understanding with the discernment always
bringing in the thought of "where is the correction."
Correction seems to be lost in the modern society in which everything
goes, even evil and dysfunctional life-styles dominate. Everyone
is addicted to many things, not even one but many!
........A book is needed here. Let's even right a book or two. How about "It's
Pathetic!" May be many other people will begin to see it
that way, if presented in the proper manner. We'll give it a try.
In the future another book: "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet!"
How abut this one: "One should never belong!" or "Where Is Evil?" A walk through the book stores to see so many trivial books. Books
with opinions which have no baring on values, spirituality and
morality. Opinions coming from corrupted and dysfunctional mindsets.
So much out there to confuse the minds of the already confused.
Then we have the novels which keep certain people in a state of
denial to provide an escape at the same time. Yes, there are useful
books too which we cannot set aside. The author then takes home
books on Rome, London, Venice, Paris and Egypt because there is
no way that he could go and see all that these books contain.
Even a trip to these locations would never take in so much history
worthwhile knowing about. One thing that this author learned is
that most people go to these places just to say that they have
been there. It is an ego trip and not a fun trip.
........This author would prefer to go to these places and be there with
the people and learn something about them in a humanistic way.
This is more important to him than seeing building upon building,
museum upon museum, more history and more history which people
take in and take in never to improve their personal consciousness.
The books he purchased on the locations suffice as something to
look at in leisure and learn more about it this way. There is
no ego trip in this author especially when he has learned to get
rid of his ego in order to reach a higher consciousness and a
closer relationship with Creator. What other purpose can one have
in life? Life moves on faster and faster as the years go by and
where can the accomplishments be? How pathetic it is to never
accomplish anything meaningful!
........How pathetic it is to die with wealth and never accomplish anything
or even to do more harm than good. To even continue the dysfunctionality
onto the next generation. Do we now see patheticism on a major
increase with no hope for correction which involves self-discipline,
self-motivation and self-decency. No hope for that which is truly
important in life, caring, doing, loving, being virtuous, honorable
and courageous. How pathetic it is to die without just a little
of these.
